Greek. Rock crystal scarboid seal (21 x 19 x 8 mm). Pierced for string. Incuse Zeus(?) seated l. on throne, feet resting on antelope (or stag?) recumbent l., holding scepter and Nike who crowns him. The unusual footrest suggests that this may not be intended to represent Zeus in his standard Greek form, but perhaps syncretized with a local Near Eastern deity.
